When an OBGYN requests to be on bed rest, is that mean to be in bed all the time? Thanks!

Not necessarily, but by rest you shouldn’t be up doing anything- just taking it easy. You don’t have to stay in bed 24/7 though

It depends. I was on "modified bed rest", dr said I could pick up my kids from school and do 1 or 2 light chores a day (eg dishes) and that was it. If you're on strict bedrest then you have to be laying down unless you're eating or taking a shower.
