Questions! Cervical Check and Membrane Sweep Next Week

I know I can decline the cervical check, but I am curious as I’ve been having lightening crotch and would just kind of like to see my progression. I know no matter how dilated I am it doesn’t necessarily mean anything I just think it would be nice to know as so many other women do on this app.

I’ve read about other women getting their membrane sweep/strip so I just wanted to know what to expect. My doctor told me at different dilation it can either be a little painful or not at all, so my question is...

How far dilated and effaced were you when you got yours, and how did it feel?

(Please don’t be negative, or condescending. I’m a first time mom, I’ve got questions and I come here for support but a lot of my questions are met with rude remarks and I end up feeling stupid and taking down my whole post)
