Lunette Cup?!???!

So I’m 18 years old, never had sex, took the putacupinit quiz and got the lunette cup, so I figured it might be worth the gamble and I bought it. I tried using it today, and it kinda hurt going in, and then it wouldn’t open... and I’m also terrified of it opening inside me! It already feels HUGE in there, and if it opens...? How is that supposed to work? Will I be able to feel it? I figured out that using the push-down fold works the best because it gets it in there, but then how is there supposed to be space for it to open up?? And I feel like there’s a lot of friction from the silicone material of the cup even though I got it wet first. 
Help!!! I really want the cup to work but I don’t want to be in pain!!!!

I’m not sure if the lunette 1 and 2 are similar firmness, but the 2 was way to firm for me. It was harder to fold and hurt to remove. For that cup the punch down fold worked best for me to get it in, you can also use lube if wetting it isn’t helping enough. I switched to a softer cup and love it!

First breath, relax, stress makes it so much harder.  I am a virgin too it will work. Try different folds, go to putacupinit.com or their youtube watch their videos. I thought the same thing and the fold I was using did not work for my body. It might be uncomfortable putting it in and taking it out the first few times bacause you are stressed about it. Being tense makes everything tighten up. It happened to me it gets better. Now I have zero discomfort putting in and taking out now that I have practice and its just normal. After the first few days and once its in correctly you won't feel it at all. I often forget I am wearing mine. There is a learning curve but once you get it figured out. Figure out what works for your body you will be fine. I love mine and was actually telling my sister last night that I wish I would have known about them YEARS ago.

To get it to open up twist it or tug down some. Once it’s opened it won’t be sitting so awkwardly so it shouldn’t bother you. You shouldn’t feel it anymore than a tampon (though you might be aware of it the first time you try it or so) 
If it’s still uncomfortable you might want to try a smaller cup. MeLuna makes smaller cups they call Shorties and this worked for me. I’m not a virgin but I’m pretty sensitive and have a really low cervix so the shorty worked best for me.
