Bassinet or pack n play?

With my first I used a pack n play, one that had the bassinet attachment, and it was great! When he grew out of it I was able to put him in it since it was also the one that had the raised attachment, if that makes sense.

But now that I'm on to my second, idk if I should use another pack n play like that or just use a regular bassinet?

My son was 10 pounds so he grew out of the top attachment bassinet pretty fast, but it was also smaller. I think if he was in an actual bassinet he would have been fine.

Which would you prefer? And if you used a bassinet which one did you use? I plan on keeping the baby in the room with us for a month or two atleast. (I'm a 🚁 mom 😅)
