So, Monday 4/1 I left work early to go to an OB appointment and I was feeling pretty good. The nurse takes me back in a room and gets my blood pressure (nothing unusual)... She starts asking me how I feel, if I’m seeing floaters, experiencing headaches or even changes in vision. I wasn’t, I was fine. She take my pressure 2 more times and tells me my doctor will be in. Once my doctor comes in, I’m told my pressure was elevated and she was sending me to L&D to be monitored for a little bit. Found out my pressure was 169/108 😳 with no symptoms!

I stayed in L&D and it wasn’t going down much so blood and urine were collected for testing. I asked if they could tweak my meds and send me home? They basically laughed and told me no, I was there for the night. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Well one night ended up being two nights with my pressure finally being controlled by doubling my meds.

My OB and MFM doctors decided that they will be delivering me somewhere between 37 and 38 weeks. I will find out my official induction date on Tuesday.

Things aren’t turning out how I expected, but as long as baby and I are safe I’m ok with it 🥰

One of the nurses blew a vein in my hand and I had this lovely knot for a few days. It’s still sore 😖
