Too manny abortions???

Question

Is there a such thing as too many abortions? Due to my past I had 5 and am wondering if it affects the baby making process in the future. Don’t want to go to a fertility doctor and face the music just yet but a little worried that it might have to do with it in some way. Have been with my husband 10 years and have had unprotected sex with him about 8. Is there a thing as too many abortions?

I'm not sure how many is too many abortions. I would think after, maybe, 2 a person would figure out a smarter way to handle their sexual health..
I don't know about too many abortions, but there certainly is such a thing as too many poor choices and not learning from the same mistake too many times. I'd say  right now overcoming those 2 hurdles should be a higher focus than fertility.

As a pro-choice person, yes there is. While I’m all for everyone having a choice for mishaps, you can only have so many mishaps until it’s being used as birth control and that isn’t ok. There are so many forms of bc that could’ve been used to prevent those 5. Like, come on. We can’t tell you if those abortions would have caused issues with you conceiving, you won’t know until you try but seriously don’t try if you don’t actually want kids. Get on the birth control. It’ll save your fertility and your health.

I read an article recently where it was in Asia and this woman was only 27 and was on her 17th abortion and the doctors were trying to convince her to keep this baby because if she were to abort this one she would not be able to carry another baby. So yes, there is such a thing as too many abortions. I’m sorry you had to had 5 abortions 😞. No judgment here.

Talk to a clinic for facts.  This board will not be a receptive place.  FWIW I fully support your right to get abortions, however many are needed. But make sure you are confident you are able to parent responsibly before you go further down the path toward children. (You may well be, no one here will know that.)

Yes. My friend had 3 and she was told no more and to use contraception especially as it’s free here and easy for everyone to get  (she had the operation each time) 
She went on to have a happy healthy child

Abortions don’t affect your future fertility so I would say it shouldn’t affect anything. It’s the same procedure done when a women has a miscarriage and needs a D&C.

I'm very pro choice and abortion doesn't bother me, but it isn't meant to be a regular  birth control. If you don't want kids you need to be responsible and use protection. Get on birth control and save yourself the trouble.
