Irritated 😖

So my doctor's office just called. I scheduled my appointment to confirm pregnancy for 4 days before Easter. At my first appointment with my first pregnancy, I had a transvaginal ultrasound done. So I had planned this appointment so we could check on the pregnancy and announce on Easter when we would be seeing most of our family (we do three family gatherings for Easter, but only one for Mother's Day.)

They just called me to tell me what to expect at my first appointment. Basically they will do a urine pregnancy test and the doctor will sit and talk to me. If he chooses they will schedule an ultrasound later. Are you effing kidding me? I have to go to an appointment to take a urine pregnancy test? I have taken like ten myself. If that is all I'm doing I can just send them pictures of mine!

I am so annoyed and bummed out because now my whole announcement is pretty much blown since they won't be actually checking for a heartbeat and to see if my pregnancy is viable. So pissed.
