It’s safe but don’t get freaked out if you can’t find it. Sometimes baby is tucked somewhere you can’t get to that easily. Just apply the gel and use the probe on your abdomen/pubic region. You may have to work a bit to find them unless you can feel where they are. YouTube can help. You might not hear it at all before 12/13 weeks.
