How long?

37 weeks 4 days and just got checked and im 1cm dilated.  Dr said could be anytime b/w now and my due date. How long were u dilated before baby came?

I started dilating sometime before 34 weeks (first time I was checked). I had my daughter at 40 weeks + 2.

For 2 weeks I’ve been 1cm but I’m effacing I was 50% effaced two weeks ago now I’m 70% effaced

I got induced on my due date and I was already 1cm. My friend got induced and remained at 4cm for two weeks then they gave her a csection (for other reasons)

I was 1cm at 27 weeks hit 3cm at 36 weeks, went into labor 37w 2d

I was 3cm for 4 weeks lol

I was 3cm and 80% effaced for 3 weeks before my water finally broke.
Dilation means nothing until you're in active labor unfortunately.
