Might cry

My husband just called me and said some people he knows from school who I have met basically once and hardly said more than two sentences to asked him if anyone was throwing us a baby shower and said they really liked me when we met and they want to throw me a shower. I swear some of the people he mentioned only overheard me talking to someone else, I haven't even met some of them.

I have no family that are a part of our lives so the gesture means that much more to have people who are basically strangers to me offer to do something so nice.

Update:

We had the shower on the 8th and the same friend who hosted took maternity photos for us a few days before. I haven't seen the photos yet but I think they turned out pretty good.

The shower went great and was a lot of fun for both of us too! 😊
