Can stress cause a miscarriage?

Me and my parents just got into a really big argument and my mom almost hit me and I got mad and stressed out way more than I have since I got pregnant, I’m so scared , I don’t want to lose my baby , I’m 7 weeks and 2 days along .

Everything I have read says that stress can’t cause a miscarriage. It’s not like what you see in movies/on TV. I read an article that said it’s very hard to cause your own miscarriage. Most of them are because of genetic abnormalities in the fetus.

My dr said stress cannot cause miscarriage. It can cause trauma to the fetus that will show in their behavior as they grow after birth. But not miscarriage.

Um what kind of fight would cause your mom to hit her pregnant daughter. Wtf? This is not healthy for you or your child. You should be fine for now but if there is violence later, could be a different story.
