Leaking Fluid??

Question

Okay so a couple days ago I felt like I peed myself but it didn't really smell like pee so I assumed it was discharge and didn't think anything of it. I just read another post where the same thing happened and the poster was concerned it could be amniotic fluid. I'm a FTM and didn't even think it could be amniotic fluid at the time. I use a panty liner for discharge and have noticed that this week I have been a little more wet. Do I need to worry? Now I'm terrified that fluid was amniotic fluid. Would it be continuous leaking? I haven't felt like I peed since the first time. And I'm not wearing a liner now and do not feel wet.
** I went to L&D they did an exam and didn't see any fluid thank goodness. Baby's heart rate was also fine. Glad I got checked though! Thanks Ladies!**

I had the same thing about a month ago 
Called a 24 hour nurse line- who told me to go to the ER
Went to the ER and they did a few tests and a sono and turns out it was a slow leak of amniotic fluid. I was on bed rest for like a week and had to drink like ..the most water there ever was. Something to do with a membrane separating from the wall, or the amniotic sac or something? I don’t remember exactly now, but it can be serious if that’s what it is and you don’t get seen for it. It CAN mean premature labor. 
But the tear (or separation?) I had they also said was fairly common, especially if you’re really active. I wait tables and am on my feet like 5 days a week for 8-12 of hours- so they attributed it to that. 🤷🏼‍♀️ smell it, check it to see if it’s clear or just maybe some thin discharge. I hate to tell women to worry, or rush to the ER, but just maybe call your doctor or nurse line too and see what they recommend.

Call your doctor and ask what they suggest. I actually just went through this today and my doctor had me go in and get checked. Thankfully nothing was wrong,but you can never be too careful and they wanted me in there as soon as possible.

I had a similar issue and it was NOT amniotic fluid. However, it would be a good idea to call your dr. They had me come in and they did a quick check and sent me on my way.
