Attention ladies who have taken the depo shot

Hi ladies! This poll is aimed towards women like myself who have PCOS. Im just curious if you received your diagnoses after having the depo shot. I never got my period back for over a few years after getting off of it, so I went to see the doctor. I was 15 when I first went into planned parenthood. I only had the shot twice. I just got diagnosed with PCOS last November. Im currently taking metformin and my periods are back to normal. This is for my own information. I have PCOS and my doctor stated that he thinks it was caused by the depo shot. Im just trying to help women to atleast know the side effects because I sadly was never warned about them at a young age and If I was informed I probably wouldnt have gotten it in the first place.
