Abnormal vaginal bleeding ( bleeding for three weeks)

Good morning guys

This is actually for my mom not myself but i am so concerned 😟

She is 46, she had heavy bleeding in the past ( 2 years ago) and we found out she had Multiple large fibroids which were removed abdominally but the doctor decided not to do hysterectomy.

Now it has been more than 3 weeks that she has been bleeding, she did US 1 month ago there was nothing significant.

But now her period won't end besides she has been taking Provera for four days but nothing has changed.

Has anyone else experienced abnormal bleeding before menopause?

What was the management?

We will do an appointment this week i hope, but i want to know your opinions too! I am so afraid :(
