how did you get yours if you have one ? i wanna start this college this year in the fall but i don’t really have the money for it😓. i want to try to get a scholarship some how??

Ask your high school’s guidance counselor and contact the college you want to go to. They should have a financial aid department and they can help you figure it out. Did you already apple to colleges?

Have you already applied to a college or planning on community college? I would say federal aid is your best bet at this point. You can search for private scholarahips but most of those submission deadlines will have passed already. Some private colleges have financial need based grants (my school did and I received it as we were crazy poor) but you would have to already be accepted to the school to receive it. I worked in college admissions assistance for years so if you need any help or have questions I would be happy to try ro help more.

Although private universities are more expensive, you will be eligible for more grants if you go to one, and they will go ALL OUT helping you apply for FAFSA, scholarships, grants, loans. I'm a single mom working 3 jobs barely getting by but my radiology school (which is a private university) has literally covered all of the financial portion for me.
