Last night I was able to participate in a relay for life event at my college. I walked not only for my grandfather, but for all of you ladies on here that has this horrible monster and continue to fight every minute of everyday. You are the real heroes. The real fighters. The strongest person to ever be here. You get up every morning knowing the hardships ahead of you, and yet you try your hardest.

My school’s goal was to raise $15,000. Together, we raised over $24,000. It was so incredible to see the student organizations on my campus come together to battle something that has affected us in different ways.

This is for you, my beautiful ladies. Keep your head up, you will defeat this and you will get your life back again. I refuse to let cancer rob you of your life anymore.
