Pre-term Labor?

Question

I’ll be 22 weeks Monday. For the past hour or so I’m having more Braxton Hicks contractions and yes I’m laying down and have been downing fluids. Like 5+ contractions within the hour if not more. 
With my son who is 8 months old I went into preterm labor at 25 weeks but was able to stop it. 
I have soooo much pressure like her head is crowning and increased contractions. Labor?

I was told if I had more than five contractions within an hour that didn’t go away with drinking fluids and resting to go in. I would call L&D and see what they’d like you to do or your doctor. Hopefully it’s not preterm labor or they’re able to stop it as 22 weeks is too early for a baby to survive outside the uterus.

Anytime you are concerned about your baby (but especially when you are having contractions way too early or if bleeding) you go to labour and delivery. They have special meds that can stop contractions. But if you wait too long the meds might not work.  Always go and get checked when you are afraid for your babies safety.
