No fetal pole?

Question

Had an ultrasound at 5 weeks due to bleeding and doctor said there was no fetal pole. Is this normal ? I was too scared to ask any questions and didn’t even think about what he said until I got home.

I didn’t have a fetal pole yet at 6 weeks 1 day so you still have time :) it develops between 5.5 weeks and 6.5 weeks.

Yes I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and 5 days and there was only a yolk sac and I went back 5 days later at 6 weeks and 3 days and there was a fetal pole and a heartbeat beat!

"The fetal pole is a thickening on the margin of the yolk sac of a fetusduring pregnancy. It is usually identified at six weeks with vaginal ultrasound and at six and a half weeks with abdominal ultrasound. However it is quite normal for the fetal pole to not be visible until about 9 weeks." I got this from Google hope it helps!
