I used to have a preference to have one boy and one girl, in any order, I didn’t care.
Now though, after having been TTC for over 2 years and coming up on the 2 year anniversary of my miscarriage, I really don’t care if we have a boy or girl. I’d be happy with either. My husband often playfully says he wants a son, but he also doesn’t care. 
We want a total of 2 kids though, and it really doesn’t matter to me if they’re one of each or both the same sex. I’ll just be thrilled to have them.
