I just came out as ftm trans to my parents. They took it as expected: not well. I was wondering if I could talk to any transmen about transitioning. Or any LGBT people...

I'm sorry to hear that! Well most parents fear what they don't understand. I'm a lesbian but I do know a lot about trans :) it's something that happens in the womb not your fault at all ( saw a documentary) you can talk to a doctor about first starting with hormone blockers and get on taking the male hormones, it will help deepen your voice and all that... After that u can see if u want top surgery or if ur just comfortable at least with the hormones :)

Hi, I’m a pansexual trans boy I’m 14 and I came out about a year ago it’s taken a while but slowly they are adjusting to the idea just give them time and make changes slowly so not to scare them too much.

Semi-closeted trans guy here! My mom didn’t take it very well either - didn’t kick me out or anything, but insisted I was faking it, that I was smart enough to know how to convince people, took me to several therapists so that a professional could confirm I was faking it, would compromise with me to start hormone blockers at 16 then take it back amd force me to seek hrt on my own, went so far as to tell me that I killed her daughter. That was 6 years ago, and things aren’t perfect but they’ve gotten much better.
