Know it all father in law

My soon to father in law has really been pushing my buttons since my son was born. First, he showed up at the hospital without double checking with us. Then when we went to go see him after we got home he told us we need to get one of those head cushions for the car seat (it came with an infant insert and I don’t feel safe using aftermarket). He just makes annoying ass comments all the. Like he said we need to give our son a bath every other day. I just can’t take it anymore. He wasn’t around when for most of his sons life. He moved 14 hours away when he was 4 years old. He was such a bad dad. My fiancé fall out of a window when he was 2 under the watch of his dad. I don’t want to ruin him being around his only grandchild but I hate him treating me I don’t know how to take care of my son. I’ve said something to my s/o so many times but he doesn’t say anything. I’m breastfeeding and he’s always asking when he can keep our son over night. Maybe I’m too sensitive but jeez I’m annoyed. Sorry for the rant 😔
