Literal stalker ex boyfriend rant

My ex-boyfriend has been harassing me and cyber stalking me for nearly a year. I’m so tired of it because it’s influencing different aspects of my life that I never thought it would. Also he’s been trying to get in contact with me through other people or he’s been following any guys that could be associated with me probably to make sure I’m not dating anyone. I am an advertising major in college and for work I do social media marketing and planning. So in saying that I need to have social media in order for me to do my job. I am completely private on everything and have him blocked but he keeps trying to find other ways to get in contact with me. I’ve been to the police numerous times but because we are in different states I can’t do anything unless he tries to come and do something physical to me. A lot of people tell me to get off of social media and to make my life extremely private and not be involved in pictures with other people but I’m so tired of him controlling my life and the things I can and can’t do and so I think it’s ridiculous that I would have to quit all of that just because of him. I am completely private on social media like I said but people are still baffled by the fact that I don’t become a total recluse. I can’t wait until he gets up and I can finally be free of that stress in my life. I am just so glad that the abusive relationship is over now. Anyway I needed to rant a little.
