So I am so tired of being on birth control, and want to just use condoms. But i’m scared. Anyone had freak accidents with condoms during sex??

Condoms are pretty effective but I wouldn’t just use them (personally) because shit happens and it could break have a hole in it and then you need to go pay 60-80 bucks for plan B if you really want to ensure you don’t get pregnant

Condoms are about 85% effective as people sometimes use them incorrectly. They’re very good at preventing pregnancy and STDs. I have a friend who’s a sex worker and uses only condoms as her form of birth control. She has a lot of sex and very little accidents.

I’ve been using the POM (pull out method) since February and haven’t had any issues but I’m thinking of birth control, scared to mess with my hormones.

We use condom all the time. As extra protection we always do it on my window and he always pulls out despite having a condom. Been doing it for a year now and no issues so far.

You could try using VCF. (Vaginal Contraceptive Film)along with a condom for extra protection. It's a film, looks s lot like those little breath freshening strips tbh, that dissolves and turns into a gel. the VCF covers your cervix , preventing sperm from getting inside and reaching an egg and the spermicide in the VCF kills sperm. It takes 15 minutes to dissolve,  it'sgood for up to 3 hours, and there's no clean up necessary
