Embarrassing birth stories?

I hear a lot of positive and negative birth stories on here. But is anyone still feeling upset about their birth? I'm 4 almost 5 weeks PP and I almost feel embarrassed about how things went for me.. I was induced, spent 2 days making little progress, had my water broken and then dilated to 10 within an hour. I pushed with no epidural for 2 hours, with an epidural for one hour.. then used vacuum before needing a c section. It was a long recovery for me, and I've been feeling embarrassed that birth was so difficult. I've heard people say that without an epidural, they were in pain but successfully gave birth. When I was having contractions I hyperventilated, screamed, cursed, and really struggled. I'm a very reserved person so now I'm feeling so silly about not having a good pain tolerance 😔😔 people say you forget the pain when baby is born but I definitely have not and I don't think I want more kids. Anyone else have an experience like this? I'm so glad I did it, but honestly it was awful!

I had a very similar experience. Induced for 24 hours, pushed for 2 (which was horrific - at one point I jumped off the bed hooked up to everything bc contractions were so bad, cried and screamed, pooped in front of everyone, and begged for a csection which is what ended up happening). It was super embarrassing and I still cringe and get really sad and angry thinking about it after 4 weeks.

Got induced 8pm Monday. Water broke on its own sometime the next morning. Was still only at a 2 and was not handling the pain well. That when the next nurse came in and saw me - basically told me i was getting pain meds. I asked if it was too early being at only a 2 but she said it was fine. Epidural stopped working at maybe 6 that night... got stuck at a 9 for a while with the worst pain of my life - feeling like i had to push but they told me no because i wasn’t a 10. 
Was crying hysterically making terrible loud noises. I couldn’t help it. Finally they let me push. Did for two hours - half way through started even asking for a c-section because i couldn’t handle the pain. Kept apologizing but pushed for the 2 hours and then they said c-section because there was zero progress. 
It took them what seemed like forever to get the anesthesiologist the whole time was still pretty much yelling and grunting in my room even when i was alone and scared with every contraction i still felt like i had to push and did... because i had to but no one was in the room with me which was very scary... I was so embarrassed but nothing i could do to change my reaction to everything. When they wheeled me into the operating room i was still grunting and crying in pain - even as they moved me into the other table. Pretty sure i never opened my eyes - still apologizing to them - until they gave me whatever pain meds they did that worked fine and i could finally relax - wasn’t even nervous for the C-section because i was just so relieved I wasn’t in pain. Baby was born around 1am Wednesday. 
I cried when i read the discharge paper because it said “reason for c-section was maternal exhaustion” still feel like a failure but its getting better. It was awful. But I’m okay and baby is healthy and happy.

I was sort of upset and embarrassed about my birth for a couple weeks as well. My birth was completely natural and towards the end I was just screaming and sobbing and crying. It was so incredibly intense I couldn't help it! But I was embarrassed because I thought the midwives thought I was being a woos. This was my second birth and I wasn't near that loud with my first. But my first birth was drawn out over 23 hours. This one was 8 hours. I was also 41+4 for this one and I think I was physically And emotionally completely drained by the time I even got to labor. I had had weeks of prodromal labor. It was quite the experience and it's taken some processing. It can help to face it and think about it. Whether that means telling someone your story or writing it down.

Sometimes birth don’t go as we plan. Actually, most of the time it doesn’t. Lol my son was a TERRIBLE birthing experience and still to this day I feel so silly for some of the things I did. Like using the oxygen mask as a crutch and getting my epidural so early.

My epidural failed because labour happened too quickly for me. I spent my 40 minutes pushing, wailing at my husband "where are the drugs!? Why isn't it working?! Why aren't you pushing the button?!" And he would look at me bewildered and say, "but I have...". My epidural kicked in after birth and just in time for the suture for one degree tear the midwife caused with her 'help'.

I had some what of the same experience! But I am not embarrassed with my, I am still mad. I have no idea why, but When I remember my birth, I get so upset about how bad it was.

You have grown and given birth to a child; however you did that is amazing and nothing should take away from that! Everyone’s body reacts differently and contractions come in different intensities. My birth also didn’t go to plan and ended in an emergency c section after 32 hours of labour and not progressing past 9cm. 
It takes time to process what we’ve been through; be kind to yourself and remember, your body went through a traumatic labour and you are a bloody hero for getting through it no matter what it took to get you there. x

No negative, it didnt go how I expected, but no hard feelings towards it. 
However embarrassing, once my water was broken maybe 15/20 minutes later I needed to lee. Told husband i needed to go but I was still attached to everything. He called the nurse and she we could unplug while I went to the bathroom. Got off the bed and i started throwing up on the floor. Because of the force I start to pee and push out more of my water all.o or the floor. Now that's embarrassing

Once my water broke I requested the epidural and hour later because I couldn't handle the pain... before that I was pretty confident I could handle the pain and do a med free birth... yeah no ... I had horrible back labor and didnt make it but an hour... so I was a wee bit embarrassed after being so confident when I told everyone I was trying med free. 
Not only that but i puked all over myself, pooped .. than the baby came out and pooped all over me. Lol...
It's kinda whatever. But I had an interesting birth myself

The only embarrassing thing that happened during my birth was the amount I pooped in the birthing pool while pushing.
