Okay moms... what is so special about the Mommaroo? I’m looking at it and trying to justify spending double the price of a regular swing?

I have one, bought it second hand and would NEVER have bought it brand new. And honestly it was only because my fiancé wanted it lol it’s more of a toy for him than for the baby. It’s honestly just an overpriced baby swing that’s “cool” and “trendy”. The only thing that I really like about it is that I can control it from an app on my phone -yes I can be that lazy 😂 but you can find an older used model for half the price so if you want one I would go that route.

Some babies love it, some hate it. It has a lot more settings than your average swing and can play music from your phone I believe. My friend had one and her baby didn't like it at all, but when I visited her my baby loved it and fell asleep in it.

My mom got us one for our first daughter. She HATED it. Would always cry when we put her in. However, my son loved it. So we kept it. Excited to see how baby #3 reacts to it.

I have one but it was just given to me and my baby sleeps really good in it. The fast settings help calm her down when she’s fussy and the slow settings help her stay asleep.

Girl I bough a small floor swing and new they're like 25$-50$ just depending where you find it. It vibrated had like 5 diff sounds and NEVER slowed swinging and had 5 diff swing speeds.  It was perfect it took 4 c batteries and I replaced them once in 7 months

Mamaroo taught me that brands don’t matter to babies. Pros and it has different movements/sounds, and you can control it by an app. Cons at least with my daughter she tried to sit up after 2 months and would cry. Ending up getting a Graco swing, but every baby is different.

My son lived in his for 6 weeks. Nothing else worked. It was well worth it to us. I still have it and will be using it for my daughter when she comes in 2 weeks.

It’s a personal decision I think as previously states some babies love it others not so much. I got one for this new baby figured I had the extra money the baby had everything so why not splurge.
