I am 38 weeks and 3 days. Yesterday afternoon I had a bout of diarrhea and, since then, every single bathroom break has been initiated by an urge to poop. So idk, like 10+ times today. About once an hour. When I go, sometimes I poop a small amount (soft) and other times I cant get anything out but feel better after peeing. What do you think is causing this? Maybe the baby's head pressing down there? Maybe these are contractions? I'm so confused because I thought the weird urge to poop was only supposed to come right before baby is delivered. I'm posting to this group because April mommas either just went through labor or their bodies are prepping now. Let me know if you experienced or are experiencing something similar.

Update: now 38 weeks and 4 days and right back to diahrreah!
