So there’s a guy who apparently has liked me for 2 years or so now and he seems cute but I don’t really know him well?

I’m friends with his best friend and honestly this guy literally teases me all the time about how this dude literally has the biggest crush on me. He seems quite shy and introverted but overall sweet. He’s tried to talk to me once (this year) but lmao it was the funniest thing ever because he kept on messing up everything and just being overall so flustered. He hasn’t confessed to me yet but it’s pretty obvious he’s crushing on me by how he acts around me and especially by what his friends and best friend has told me.

I’ve started thinking about him and dk if it’s because I like him or if I actually just feel sorry for him oops. He gives off such a sweet vibe like I literally want to instantly protect him.

I want to ask him out just on a study date but I feel like if I don’t actually like him I might end up unrightfully leading him on.
