Depends on the tone used. In some ways, I see it as a compliment. Strong personalities tend to know what they want & refuse to put up with BS & excuses.(guys don't always like or appreciate that. Their loss.)
Other traits are opinionated, driven & decisive. Of course, it could be a negative too. Sometimes, strong personalities can come across as arrogant or obnoxious or difficult to work with....
