Under what circumstances would you not tell?

I was reading an article on how to tell a significant other that you are pregnant when they don’t want children. One of the things that I never knew was common was women who kept their pregnancy a secret, especially in abusive relationships.
So I wanted to ask the ladies and I would circumstance would you not tell your significant other that you are pregnant and keeping the baby?

My mom never told my biological dad she was pregnant. He didnt want kids... she finally told him when I was 1 and he wanted nothing to do with me. He signed away his parental rights in the blink of an eye. We have talked and I found out he was once engaged and overheard his fiance telling her bridesmaids she was going to force him into having kids... this happened 30 minutes before they were supposed to walk down the aisle. He walked out of the church and never looked back. We don't have a relationship whatsoever. Sometimes you just know when it's best to leave someone out of the picture.

I think it’s only ok in situations with abusive not to tell the father.

there is no circumstances where I wouldnt, unless I was in danger but then I'd talk to my midwife and get the help to get out and let the court let him
