Worrying!!

So i had surgery almost a month ago by the 18th of this month. March 18 was my surgery to find out if i have endometriosis and to have my appendix removed. The doctors went in and removed what they saw and sent it to the lab. So results came back as i did have endometriosis and my appendix had appendicitis and were about to burst. A couple of days after surgery i started spotting blood like im going to start a full period... nope the spotting stayed for a couple of weeks. Now two days ago im actually filling up pads every couple of hours after just changing it. When did your periods go back to normal or should i talk to my doctor to figure out what is now going on with my doctor?
