How much is your baby eating?

My baby is five weeks old, 6 weeks tomorrow. We have been offering her 4 oz. she doesn’t always eat that much, she’ll eat between 2.5-4. Well the dietary lady at the hospital was not happy. And gave us a paper saying to only feed 2oz. I was just wonder how much everyone else is feeding and if we really are feeding too much? 
Not that it will change anything. If my baby is hungry I’m going to feed her. She’s been gaining weight appropriately according to glow. And she has the right amount of diapers and everything.

Everything I read says the amount you feed should be based on how much the baby weighs, 2.5 oz per pound per day.

My son is 6weeks on Wednesday and weighed 11lbs6oz at 4week checkup. He’s formula fed and I give him what little breast milk I can get (2-4oz/day).
He takes anywhere from 2-4oz every feeding. If he takes 2oz one feeding he’ll be hungry again in an hour usually and want at least another 2oz. If he takes 4oz he will probably be good for 2-4hrs. If he sleeps a really long stretch (3-5hrs) he will guzzle 4oz so fast we have to stop him to burp.

My baby turned 6 weeks today and is taking 4oz every 3 hours in the day. Sometimes she will take just under 4, and she has 5oz just before bedtime. She then sleeps 6 hours straight, so has another 5oz to see her through until morning

Our baby is 7 weeks on Friday and he’s eating anywhere between 2-4 oz every 2-3 ours. He’s colic-y so after 1.5-2 oz. I have to burp him so it gives us an opportunity to look for signs that he wants more.

My daughter is 10lbs 8oz and is EBF with the occasional bottle to introduce for when I get back to work. Weighted feeds were 2-2.5oz. Every 2-3hrs. From the bottle she’ll drink 1-2oz only. 
I remember being worried she wasn’t getting enough (I had low supply with my other two kids and she lost 9% of weight at birth and did not get to birth weight until right before she hit 4 weeks) but at our last lactation appointment she had gained 22oz in 20 days so she’s solid lol.

My butterball son eats 5 oz at a time when he’s given a bottle. He’s breastfed so I had no idea how much he was actually eating because I just nurse him until he tells me he’s full. I had no idea he was eating that much until I had to leave him with my husband one day. I know it’s a lot but he tells me when he’s hungry and when he’s full and I just listen.
