Stuttering getting worse?

So our stuttering has gotten MUCH worse. 
Update:

Anyone else? I’m so worried. 
Like legit cried earlier when I watched how frustrated he got. He literally ran out of air before he could finish his sentence. What do we do? 😭😭😭

I haven’t experienced this with my son but my husband had a terrible stutter, and it definitely stemmed from an overactive brain. He had so much to say that he was so excited about and by the time it got to his mouth it just didn’t come out. He didn’t have any advice but he did outgrow it eventually.

My son just started doing this about 2 weeks ago. He stutters SO bad over words and starts laughing at himself after 5 second of stuttering. We spoke to a speech therapist that told us not to draw attention to it and it is definitely developmental thing!

Contact the school district you are in and ask for an evaluation. They typically do Evaluations and will provide intervention if needed for free. They might have a long wait though so you could check if your insurance covers speech language pathology services and take him to a private one. Good luck. I hope it’s a normal phase some kids go through and nothing to worry about.

We have an appointment with a speech pathologist June 5 just to make sure everything is all good :)
