Do you hear the heartbeat at 8w ultrasound?

We got to SEE the heartbeat. But the only time we heard it was with the Doppler after the ultrasound

The hospital I go to doesn’t do the Doppler until 16 weeks because they think it makes the baby warm and put to much energy in the baby

My husband heard it at 6 weeks 2 days, was around 150. Sadly baby didn’t make it till 10 weeks after which it was a missed miscarriage.

We heard my sons at 6 weeks and 2 days. Yes I said, “heard”. It was 130.

For a very short amount of time yes I saw and heard it. But it was maybe ten seconds at best lol. Just about every time I’ve heard the heartbeat it hasn’t been for very long just to locate and make sure it’s at a good pace.

I heard with the doppler at 8w with all three pregnancies.  Didn’t have an ultrasound then with any though.
