Anyone know?

Are false positives common? I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive. I took one this morning and it was negative and now just took one now and negative, I don’t know what’s going on.

Answer

False positives are usually the result of a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage), so technically they aren’t “false” since HCG was detected due to pregnancy and not some other very rare disorder. 
Indents and evaps are VERY common. Are you sure it was actually positive? Did you use FMU when testing today?
