Pain in ovary

I’m 16, never had sex , period is over and not due soon. For the past week or two I’ve been experiencing an intense stabbing sensation in my left ovary which causes me to keel over and occasioy I have to hold in a moan from the pain. Any ideas as to what this could be ?? X
