Polyp removal anxiety

Hello,

I am so glad to have found this forum. We have been ttc for around a year with no results. Both of us are 35. We went to a RE earlier this year and they found that there are multiple uterine polyps and 4 of them close to 1cm. The RE suggested surgery to remove them. He is not available for a long time and hence my gynecologist agreed to do the surgery. I have a couple of questions:

RE wanted to do it no later than between 5-12 days into the cycle however the gynecologist is of the opinion that CD should not matter at all and has scheduled the surgery around CD3-4 of the next cycle..does this really matter??

Also she mentioned something about general anaesthesia or deep sedation which is really freaking me out as I haven’t had this before. Is it really necessary to have GA? The thought of a surgery is making me wonder if polyps really need to be removed :(..my amh level has gone from 2 to 0.8 in 9 months which is adding to the overall stress as am not sure how it could decrease so drastically in this short time!
