Not the best delivery or aftermath

Mo

UPDATE-

I went in on April 15th at 5:30pm to begin my induction.

They gave me oral medicaction to soften my cervix. I was begining to have period like cramps throughout the night (not unbearable)

However, around 7:30am they started to become more frequent, with no rests in between

My doctor came in at 7:41 and broke not only ONE but TWO water bags! (It felt like a big gush of warm water)

Shortly after my nurse called for my to get an epidural. At this point I'm in so much pain, my baby's oxygen level was dropping.

I'm about to get my epidural and then my doctor came in with a squad and said they are taking me for emergency C-section

I cried because I was in so much pain but scared. They gave me some spinal medication to numb my whole body, it felt so weird.

Not to mention my boyfriend was almost st the hopsital (he missed the delivery but was there 5mins after the surgery)

Jayden Matteo Arevalo-Murawiec- born April 16th 2019 @ 09:21, 7lbs 15oz, 19 inches long

My whole world changed when I heard my baby boy cry and I saw him. My life was complete.

The painful contractions, vomiting after the surgery, bleeding ect ALL WORTH IT

Anyways got rolled into recovery and everything was fine with the baby! Or so I thought

We got rolled back into a room where I will stay with the baby until discharge which will be Friday or Saturday

Anyways they checked baby...his oxygen level is low. They take him to the nursery. My mom came to visit me and to see the baby.

My mom is patiently waiting for my son to be back.

he never returns. I learned soon after he is in the NICU. Being told he is only being monitored and given O2.

Well thats not the case, they drained his stomach because of fluid and did an xray/blood test, hes on a sugar IV drip, on antibiotics, he is on oxygen because his is low 92% without oxygen and with he is 97.

I am so fucking devastated I hope that nothing is wrong.

I go from feeling him in my stomach, to having him in my arms to NOTHING );

I'm praying that its just trouble transitioning ..I love him so much

UPDATE #1: Jayden is doing well finally! Doesnt need extra oxygen, he is breathing room oxygen. The NICU said as long as his vitals are stable and he can eat without problems then they can take him off the sugar water IV. Hopefully if he keeps this up I can take him home with me Saturday.
