Trying to get my SO to BD

I’m 37, my SO and I have been together over a decade. This last year ( one accident, and miscarriage later) I’m beyond ready to get pregnant. He is freaked out but says he wants to... but... the fears all freak him out. And he doesn’t want me to miscarry again and be depressed again. I tried to tell him when I was ovulating and that made him run for the hills. What do normal people do!? I don’t want to lie or hide it? And feel obvious about it when I am? Help!!!
