Baby Names.... What is the story behind the name you chose for your child??

We looked through a book of baby names and found two that we liked 🤷🏼‍♀️

My daughters name is Grace because she truly was a gift from God that saved my life. I was 17 and heading down a bad path of drinking, drug use, and careless sex with multiple people. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I stopped everything and got my shit together fast. My sons name is Jeremy. Hes named after my husbands brother who passed away many years ago at the age of 21 from cancer.

I chose Raven after my adopted nephew’s half sister. She died around 3 months (not exactly sure from what, but pretty sure neglectfulness of her mother was part of it.) She was such a sweet baby too.

My daughter is Madilyn. My husband were laying in bed the night after we found out she was a girl just listing off names that we liked and he said “What about Madilyn? She could be daddy’s Maddie” and I tested up a little (I blame the pregnancy hormones lol) and we knew that was her name ☺️

Tony is after my dad my first and oldest my youngest is sawyer ive always loved that name and nothing seemsd to fit but then i was on YouTube listening to Sawyer Fredrick and he was just kicking away so it just stuck

Alice rose.
Alice because we both liked how timeless and simple it is and rose after my husbands granny rose who died when he was young 
I would have loved to use one of my grandmothers names but they're awful I just couldn't name her Hetty or Helen.

Our sons name is Elijah. We both love the story of him in the Bible and at 8 weeks before we even knew gender, my husband had a dream of someone handing him a baby boy and told him his name would be Elijah. I remember him waking up and saying, it’s a boy and I  think we need to name him Elijah. I loved it and we never doubted it once! We call him Eli

We named her Eden Alaine when she was 2 days old. We couldn’t agree on anything but Eden. And I liked that it was biblical and it wasn’t overly feminine. And Dad picked alaine because I really liked Elaine but he didn’t like it spelt with an e so he wanted an a!

My son’s name is: Toryn (Tor-in)
Long story short I liked the name Tory, but my husband said it sounds like a girls name. So he played with the name and came up with Toryn and I LOVED it.
