My ELA teacher said that one of the main reasons they teach a Holocaust unit is because some people don't think it ever happened. I, along with everybody else in my class, was VERY surprised. So now I'm seeing if that's true, because it seems kind of hard to believe.

Unfortunately there are people who dont believe it happened, i remember a few years ago a teacher was let go because they were teaching their students that it was all a lie.

Uhh yeah it really did happen though. It’s not a believe it or not thing. My husbands grandparents were in a concentration camp in Poland. They met there when they were 12 & 14, when they got out of there they got married a little while after. They are still alive and live in Poland.

The Holocaust happened. It's a true fact and there are evidences on the internet there are pictures of the post-Holocaust and its image has burned in my mind. It was a tragic and dark history. It's all over the documentaries related to Nazi so check it and believe it from now on that it happened and it is part of our history as humans.
