How do you know when you need more Progesterone

I had a missed miscarriage in December. I don’t think my dr ever checked my progesterone. Just hcg.

This time around, she never even mentioned progesterone. But I’ve been losts of posted of women who had a miscarriage, and for their next pregnant got put on progesterone pills.

HCG has been more than doubling, I can see the results online. But again it’s just hcg not progesterone. I’m wondering if I should ask for my progesterone to be checked, to be on the safe side?

You’d think doctors know best. But my dr (GP not OB) only estimated my due date at the first apt. Gave me a req for blood hcg draws, and a paper on prenatal screening. She never took my starting weight, didn’t tell me what I should and shouldn’t be eating. What exercise is good for me and baby. Nothing. Which rubs me the wrong way a little bit. Being a first time mom. You’d think she’d provide more information
