My husband and I are first time parents. Every year his company gathers all the divisions (spread out over the US and a few other countries) for meetings and then formal events. Families are invited and we essentially get to enjoy a gorgeous resort for free.

This year the meeting/vacation is in July and will be in Texas from Thurs-Sunday. Our son will be a little over 4 months old and we would be flying from the East Coast.

I want to bring him or stay home. Hubby wants me to come, but thinks we should leave him at home. He thinks we won't be able to do much and will be stuck in the hotel room as it will be quite hot in July and baby will need to nurse frequently. He doesn't think itd be wise to also fly all day with him yet. I don't think I'll be ready to leave him behind. If our baby came to Texas we would pay a "nanny fee" to the company and have my Mom join.
