Maybe someone can help??

Brooklyn • Married ❤ - Mother of 3 boys, 13, 3 & newborn! 💙👶Blessed.

My son, Christopher was born Nov 19.. 5 months today!

The last couple of weeks he has been waking up at night a couple of hours after he has fallen asleep SCREAMING. He doesnt open his eyes, wont take a pacifier (he usually does to fall asleep), shakes, and it doesnt seem like my voice or my presence (picking him up) consoles him at all. The only thing that seems to help is a bottle until he falls back asleep. Now this is not him waking up hungry. This is nothing like the hunger cry that he cries when he wakes up needing a bottle. It has been happening consistantly the last 2 weeks every other night and usually last 5 to 10 minutes. It is heart breaking because it seems like there is nothing I can do.

So I start googling..

Night terrors? Does this happen this early? All the signs seem to match this. This has only been happening the last 2 weeks and only one time throughout the night.. a couple hours after falling asleep.

Things that have recently changed:

We moved up to level 2 dr browns nipples..

We have tried a little bit of solids.. maybe 10 bites a day for practice purposes..

He is a little more constipated than normal..

No formula change. He has been on Alimentum since 2 weeks due to reflux. But it seems like the reflux has subsided about a month ago..

Is anyone else going through this or have any insight? Should I call the doctor? Do you think he is okay? I have a 10 year old son as well and I dont remember anything like this happening with him.

Photo cause he is a cutie! Thanks in advance!
