I went in 04/14/19 at 1pm figuring that I wasn't in active labour as I was sitting and walking and talking pretty much all day long. Just dealing with the slight period cramps that really didn't hurt. The measured my cervix at 8cm and told me I wasn't going home without my baby. They set the room up. Set up my iv and started my antibiotics for testing positive for group b strep. They offered the epidural which I took knowing I'll be there possible a long time. They put it in and I didn't even notice. I sat watch tv and everything till about 8pm. His head was crowning and the epidural had wore off to. And my water broke naturally to. I spent 5 minutes actively trying to push and 30 minutes fighting the nurse to leave me alone. My precious baby boy was born at 836pm

He weighed 7 lbs and 4 oz. At 18.5 inches long. With a 34.5 cm head.

Spent 7 and half hours in labour. For a first time mom that's pretty rare
