So I’m 19 and I live at home with my parents I follow all their rules with no complaints. I have always kept my dating life under raps because I don’t like to answer questions and I’m just naturally private so recently i went on a date with guy from work and as i was getting ready to go there like walking out the door my mom says what are you wearing and just says how I my dress is too short I responded that I’m sorry but I’m 19 I’m not saying I’m grown but I follow all your rules but I’m going to where what I want I made sure it is appropriate and nothing is hanging out before I bought it and I left

My outfit was a black loosely form fitting t shirt dress went to about mid thigh with a jean jacket and converse

I made sure nothing was hanging out everywhere and that I thought it was appropriate to wear before I even bought I was happy and confident

When I get home my mom is pissed and starts going off on me and says that she’s just trying to teach me self respect and that I was being disrespectful

I have self respect and carry myself in that way but now all of a sudden because I’m going on a date and wearing a short dress I’m a hoe and I have no self respect
