So we recently got a new area coach at work which I don’t mind her at all she’s great, she helps out a lot but the other day she was looking at the schedule trying to figure out how Friday was going to work being that our assistant manager had quit Monday, she turns to me and says “I’m gonna need you to work 10-4 your regular scheduled time then come back at 6:00 to close”.... She didn’t ask me if I COULD work it but being the person I am, I love my Money so I took it and said sure why not🤷🏻‍♀️ but this is literally the second time I’ve had to do this in the same month! My General Manager doesn’t work night shift AT ALL, every week end I also have to work night shift. I literally haven’t had a weekend day off since I started back at KFC and after that I got stuck working night shift every single weekend. I am a manager, I love my job a lot but I am mentally and physically exhausted!!😪
