Period after miscarriage?

I just wondered if you’re symptoms of AF were the same after m/c? I’m due my first period since my m/c in 3 days, BFN tests so I think I’m definitely out! But I have no breast tenderness or cramps like normal before AF? Just wondered if it was due to the m/c and hormones? What are your experiences ?

Before miscarriages I did not get any symptoms for my period. Not before nor during. After miscarriages I would get cramps, different discharge, different type of period, and breast tenderness. I also felt like ovulation became painful (when before I never felt anything). So while I dont know if this is medically correct or not, having miscarriages completely changed everything about my cycles so I am never surprised when other people say the same.

You period won’t come when it’s ‘due’. It can take 6-8 weeks more/less for a period to come back. It’s like a waiting game. Mine took 10 weeks to come back.

I had a miscarriage in December. Before all that happened my AF symptoms used to be: 1 week before sore breasts, period “pimple”, increased appetite / cravings. 
After my miscarriage I got my period back 4 weeks later but had 0 PMs symptoms & my period lasted a full 9 days instead of my regular 5-6 days. The next month was the exact same! It was just my last cycle in March that just passed that my pms symptoms are coming back but instead of my breasts being sore for a week it’s now only my left one 🧐 very odd. So I think my hormones are starting to get balanced out again. Hoping my period doesn’t show this month as we have been TTC right away after I miscarried (going on cycle #4🤞🏼)

Mine came right at 6 weeks I had awful cramps the night it came. I usually don’t have horrible cramps so it was definitely a surprise.

Since my first miscarriage last May my periods have absolutely changed. They are much different than before. I also had a miscarriage in October and they changed after that as well. Hopefully it's not too drastic of a change for you! Good luck!
