Could I be pregnant? Help! I'm only 16

Question

So I do actively have sex with my boyfriend, but we use protection every time. However, I've been on my period for 4 weeks straight, so somethings up. I'm going to the doctor soon, but could this be a sign of pregnancy? Has this ever happened to anyone else ?
Update: I didnt start new birth control or anything. Everythings been normal. Doctors appt is Thursday.

Several types of birth control can cause this even if it didn’t previously. You’re right to see your doctor though.

i don’t think bleeding like that would be a sign of pregnancy, you could always take a test to rule it out, but that wouldn’t be my first thought. have you started new birth control? or anything like that? it could cause the bleeding. i’m not really sure, i hope the doctor can give you some answers!

I’d advise you go to the doctor VERY soon if you’ve been bleeding for 4 weeks.
