Someone I know who has no kids is obsessing over the idea of having a baby and they have researched everything they could need and are buying everything even though their spouse is very much against the idea of having a baby right now?  She’s not pregnant, just wants to be

This is called being baby crazy. He better be careful because she may try to force it on him (holes in condom, etc)

I would tell her that this can be considered illegal in some places and than tell her spouse what she’s doing

If this someone you know ends up having a kid against her spouses wishes. She will end up a single mom or with a husband who resents her and the child. 
Therefore she should wait until her and her husband are on the same page.
