At this point in time, having less to no children on top other things you are doing is the best thing to combat it. 
In the first year, kids cause 9k tons of carbon. That is a lot of carbon.

No, not enough people give a fuck to even make a small difference in their lives. All I’m seeing is people bitching because maccies took away plastic straws, without even thinking that they’re doing a great thing for the world even if it’s only a small change.

Honestly no. We have so many new environmentally friendly technologies that aren’t being utilized. I live in Alberta, and we just elected the fucker Jason Kennedy. Because albertans believe in getting an oilfield that not coming back, instead of diversifying the economy (which would ultimately be better for future generations).
Like... we have a new technology of plastic that can decompose in about 300 days but we are still mass producing the nasty stuff.

I think that the general population are waiting on some governing body to do it for them ... it all comes down to politics, rather than people just taking responsibility, or even the time to learn how they can lessen their impact. 
It comes down to putting your money where your mouth is. We are a MASS consuming society, and our demands are what is driving a lot of pollutants and unethical corporations to thrive and impact the world in such a negative way. I find a lot of people complain about climate change ... but then refuse to stop purchasing petrol/fossil fuel derived products, or car share to lessen the amount of cars on the road, or reduce their meat consumption or just really live consciously in general. It all comes down to us. They commit the atrocities ... we sit idly by and allow them to do so. 
So no. I dont think enough is being done at all in regards to climate change. And i hold a lot of that down to the mass population, not politicians.

I think there's a lot in progress which is great but it's very slow to be implemented on a large/ commercial scale.

Oh 100% not! Most people don't even know what they are doing that is affecting the planet in such a bad way!! We have overpopulation as well which doesn't help. It would take decades for this world to be able to regenerate but not a lot of people know when they should 'start'. 
And it's not like we haven't got the money to fix this issue or the power to. 
People with power will always push climate change and the dying of the earth to the side because it isn't profitable enough.

If only the world would attack climate change like they did the Arms race in the 50s-70s... but when we have world leaders that are science deniers then you dont get anything moving...
